Application of Alkyl Amidopropyl Betaine in Fire Fighting Foam Extinguishing Agent

In order to improve the fire extinguishing performance of foam agents in nonpolar liquid fires, application alkyl amidopropyl betaine with different chain lengths aqueous film-forming was studied. The relationship between structure alkylamidopropyl and surface tension, foaming property stability analyzed. On this basis, agent formulations were formed, then each formulation tested. results show that is directly proportional property. shorter chain, less oily better foam’s anti-burning performance. combination conducive comprehensive product oleophobic achieve best effect.
